Meet Tesslyn
“Growing up, my family always had pets but my passion came from my mother who often rescued animals. I soon started helping her effort to save the voiceless. As I and my fierce, protective instinct grew, I considered becoming a veterinarian. In middle school, I shadowed veterinarians and soon after that I began volunteering at animal shelters around the Madison area. It opened my eyes to the need for more options for animal care. Our lives can get very busy and making the decision to get a pet can be a 15+ year commitment. Unfortunately, for this reason, many pets end up either back on the streets or in shelters looking for new homes. In 2016, I chose not to go down the veterinary care path, but to help alleviate some of the stress that travel brings for you and for your pet. This way, you can rest assured that by keeping your pet in their home, they will be comfortable and receive the best care possible.”
